The USA South Athletic Conference's 19th annual Cans Across The Conference food drive competition has concluded. Since classes began this fall until November 16th, USA South member institutions participated in the community service competition. Each campus Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) collected cans and other non-perishable items to benefit a local charity of their choosing. The institution with the most items collected is crowned the Cans Across the Conference Champion.
With a grand total of 4,204, Greensboro College is the Cans Across the Conference Champion for 2023. This is the third time the Pride has claimed victory in this competition (2005, 2007). Pfeiffer University collected 3,860 items to finish second while Brevard College's 3,220 items rounded out the top-three.
