Golfer of the Week
Cory Howard, LaGrange - The sophomore from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida finished first at the Golfweek Fall Invitational in Sandestin, Florida last week by shooting an eight-under par 205. In the three-day event, Howard opened with a two-under par 69, followed with a three-under par 68 and finished with another three-under par 68. His performance helped the Panthers to a second place finish at the event. Also Nominated: Onni Hurri, Averett; Brian Jaeger, Christopher Newport.

Golf Rookie of the Week
James Liang, LaGrange - The Shenzhen, China freshman placed tied for 20th at the Golfweek Fall Invitational in Sandestin, Florida last week by shooting a seven-over par 220. In the three-day event, Liang opened with a four-over par 75, followed with a two-over par 73 and finished with a one-over par 72. His performance helped the Panthers to a second place finish at the event. Also Nominated: Dalton Berry, Averett; Matt DiSalvo, Christopher Newport.
