Cory Howard, LaGrange - The sophomore from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida has competed in two events so far this spring. At the Pine Needles Intercollegiate in Southern Pines, North Carolina Howard finished tied for sixth place by shooting a two-over par 73 in the one-day event. His performance helped the Panthers finish tied for fourth place at the event. At the Callaway Collegiate in Pine Mountain, Georgia, Howard finished third by shooting a three-over par 147. In the two-day event, Howard opened with a two-under par 70 and finished with a five-over par 77. His performance helped the Panthers to a third place finish at the event. Golf Rookie of the Week
Dalton Berry, Averett - The Pine Hall, North Carolina freshman placed tied for 50th at the Callaway Collegiate in Pine Mountain, Georgia by shooting an 18-over par 162. In the two-day event, Berry opened with an 11-over par 83 and finished with a seven-over par 79. His performance helped the Cougars to a fifth-place finish at the event. Also Nominated: Tommy Nakamura, N.C. Wesleyan.
