Josie Hester, Brevard - The Huntersville, North Carolina senior guard averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.5 assists per game as the Tornados posted a 2-0 record last week against Conference foes. In a 74-61 victory at Pfeiffer, Hester totaled 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals. In a 74-67 win at N.C. Wesleyan, Hester scored 29 points with eight rebounds, three steals, and two steals.
