Brandon Broughton, Brevard - The Lawrenceville, Georgia sophomore defensive back collected ten total tackles, two pass breakups, and an interception in a 35-32 victory over USA South rival Southern Virginia. Broughton accumulated five solo and assisted tackles with one tackle for a loss of three yards. His interception came with six seconds remaining in the second quarter at the Tornado four yard line to prevent any points by the Knights to end the half.
