USA South Golf Athletes of the Week - Oct. 12, 2016

Golfer of the Week
Logan Lanier, LaGrange - The senior from St. Augustine, Florida finished fourth at the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational in Sandestin, Florida last week by shooting a two-under par 211. In the three-day event, Lanier opened with a one-under par 70, followed that up with an even par 71 and finished with a one-under par 70. His performance helped the Panthers tie for sixth place. Also Nominated: None.

Golf Rookie of the Week
Scott Campbell, Greensboro - The freshman from Kernersville, North Carolina finished tied for 13th at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate in Morganton, North Carolina last week by shooting a six-over par 216. In the three-day event, Campbell opened with a three-over par 73, followed that up with an even par 70 and finished with a three-over par 73. His performance helped the Pride to a sixth place team finish. Also Nominated: None.
