Vontre Howard, Methodist - The junior running back from Charleston, South Carolina ran for a single-game program record 244 yards with two touchdowns in a 48-34 victory over USA South rival Huntingdon. Nelson Smith, Maryville - The freshman quarterback from Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed and ran for a touchdown in a 29-3 victory over USA South foe Brevard. Through the air, Smith was 12-of-17 for 159 yards while he ran the ball eight times for 12 yards. Also Nominated: Jarrod Mosby, Averett.

Joseph Ledbetter, Averett - The Sanford, North Carolina freshman defensive lineman totaled seven tackles, including 3.5 for a loss of 22 yards, two sacks and a forced fumble in a 54-0 win over USA South rival Greensboro. Ledbetter tallied three solo tackles and four assisted take downs while his forced fumble was recovered by the Cougars and led to a touchdown three plays later. Cameron Earls, Piedmont - The sophomore midfielder from Tifton, Georgia scored five goals in a 2-0-1 week for the Lions versus USA South competition. In a 2-0 win over Maryville, Earls scored an insurance goal in the 61st minute. In a 4-0 victory over Berea, Earls notched a hat-trick of three goals including the first score of the match which became the eventual game-winner. Blayton Duncan, Piedmont - The freshman goalkeeper from Moultrie, Georgia posted a shutout and allowed one goal as he recorded a 1-0-1 record versus USA South competition last week. In 200 minutes in goal, Duncan made a total of nine saves. In a 4-0 win over Brevard, Duncan stopped all four shots he faced. In a 1-1 tie with William Peace, Duncan collected five saves. Ivan Ponce, William Peace - The freshman forward from Clinton, North Carolina scored twice with two assists in a 2-0-1 week for the Pacers versus USA South competition. In a 3-1 win over Averett, Ponce scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 28th minute before assisting on an insurance score. In a 2-1 win over Brevard, Ponce scored the game-tying goal in the 28th minute then assisted on the game-winning tally in the 65th minute. Finally, in a 1-1 tie with Piedmont, Ponce was held scoreless but managed six shots. In a 4-1 win over Berea, Sipos was held scoreless with seven shots. In a 4-0 victory over Huntingdon, Sipos notched a hat-trick of three goals including the first of the match which was the eventual game-winner. Finally, in a 4-1 win over Agnes Scott, Sipos scored the game-tying goal in the 12th minute before assisting on two goals including the game-winner. Dailey scored the match's first goal in the 8th minute and put the Panthers back into the lead in the 31st minute. Jazzlyn Kenner, LaGrange - The junior middle blocker from Marietta, Georgia averaged 4.71 kills, with a .464 hitting percentage, and 1.71 blocks per set as the Panthers posted a 2-0 record versus USA South competition. In a 3-1 win over Brevard, Kenner posted 20 kills, nine blocks and two digs. In a 3-0 victory over Maryville, Kenner notched 13 kills, three blocks, three digs and two service aces. In a 3-1 loss to Methodist, Clouse posted a double-double with 12 kills and 14 digs to go along with one assist and one service ace. In a 3-0 loss to Averett, Clouse contributed nine kills and 12 digs. Logan McKenzie, Berea - The junior from Athens, Tennessee ran in the "Elite Race" portion of the Greater Louisville NCAA Preview Classic and 16th out of 252 runners. McKenzie completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 24:17 which is his second-fastest effort of his career. Little completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:54 helping the Mountaineers to a 12th place team finish. Lilly Smith, Covenant - The senior from Weaverville, North Carolina placed first out of 69 runners at the Maryville College Invitational. Smith completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 23:09, the third-fastest 6K time in program history, helping the Scots to a first place team finish. Mary Beth Mellhuish, Berea - The freshman from Berea, Kentucky placed 187th out of 287 runners at the Greater Louisville NCAA Preview Classic.
