MEN'S BASKETBALL

Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Will Crumly, Covenant - The sophomore forward from Marietta, Georgia averaged a double-double of 28.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as the Scots posted a 1-1 record last week. In a 103-96 loss to Concordia (TX), Crumly posted a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. In an 87-66 victory over USA South foe Pfeiffer, Crumly notched a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds. Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Andrew Doty, Berea - The freshman center from Irvine, Kentucky averaged 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 assists per game as the Mountaineers posted an 0-2 record last week versus USA South competition. In a 101-92 loss to LaGrange, Doty posted a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds to go along with two steals and one block. In a 60-55 loss to Huntingdon, Doty totaled ten points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Leah Calhoun, Mary Baldwin - The Churchville, Virginia freshman guard averaged a double-double of 24.7 points and 12.7 rebounds to go along with 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game as the Fighting Squirrels posted a 3-0 record versus USA South competition. In a 66-65 win over N.C. Wesleyan, Calhoun posted a double-double of 32 points with a career-high 15 rebounds to go along with two assists and one steal. In an 85-57 victory over Pfeiffer, Calhoun contributed 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. Finally, in a 56-53 win over Meredith, Calhoun notched a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds with two assists, two steals and one block. Also Nominated: Tyzarea Alexander, Methodist; Katie Lewis, Greensboro; Kayla Johnson, N.C.
