The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the hiring of Kajsa Swanson as the Conference's Digital Media Assistant. The position's responsibilities include producing visual content for the USA South website, enhancing the Conference's presence on social media as well as developing graphic and video content to help promote the League and its members.
Swanson graduated from Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in media communication with an emphasis on multimedia and production to go along with a minor in art/graphic design. Swanson was a student-athlete, participating in both cross country and track & field, while at the NAIA-member institution. Following her 2015 graduation, Swanson completed an internship with the United States Olympic Committee helping build Team USA's digital brand through creative video production, serving as camera operator and production assistant on various video shoots. Most recently, Swanson has served as the Digital Media Content and Marketing Specialist for Fast Break Athletics in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
"I am very thankful for the opportunity the USA South has afforded me," Swanson shared. "With my experience as a student-athlete at a smaller university, I believe a have a good feel for the Conference as well as its members and look forward to showcasing them."
Swanson is originally from the Chicago area and currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
