(BUENA VISTA, Va.) - The 2023 USA South Women's Soccer Tournament championship took place on the campus of Southern Virginia University on Saturday, November 4 as the top-seeded, host, Knights earned the program's first League tournament title by defeating third-seeded Brevard, 3-1.

After a first half which saw no goals scored, Southern Virginia struck first just 45 seconds into the second half on a goal from Ellie Owen which was assisted by Makinna Winterton. At the 60 minute mark, Brevard answered back to tie the game as Tae Brown found Taylor Richardson for a goal. The score would remain tied for just over ten minutes when Winterton scored a goal of her own, which was assisted by Claire Stephens, to give the Knights the lead. Southern Virginia would put the game away with Maybel Harris netting an insurance score in the 75th minute.
