The USA South Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the additions of Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field to its current lineup of sponsored sports. With six men's programs and seven women's programs currently sponsoring the sport of indoor track & field, the League approved the incorporation. The Conference will conduct its first Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, February 23 at the JDL Fast Track facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

"With the inclusion of indoor track & field, the USA South now sponsors 20 championships," shared USA South Commissioner Dr. Tom Hart." The addition of six championships in the past seven years is indicative of the growth in athletic programs our Conference members have experienced. As a Conference, we are blessed to have a facility like JDL within our footprint that hosts a variety of conference and national meets throughout the year."

The JDL facility has hosted meets the past two seasons which included only USA South members and served as a precursor to these inaugural, official, Conference championships to be conducted in February.
