The Conference will showcase a photo from the person's past and detail where they have been and how they currently serve their athletic department. Danielle Dawson - Salem College - Head Women's Basketball Coach / /Associate Athletic Director
- Women's Basketball student-athlete at Hampton University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in communicative sciences and disorders in May, 1999.
- 1996-97 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Rookie of the Year.
- 1997-98 MEAC First Team All-Conference, MEAC All-Tournament Team, and Team MVP.
- Scored over 1,000 points during her collegiate career.
- Earned a Master's of Science degree in sports administration from Delaware State in 2009.
- Has served as an assistant coach at four NCAA Division I women's basketball programs (Monmouth, N.C. A&T, Delaware State, Radford).
- Had a one-year stint coaching basketball with the Virgin Island Senior Women’s National Team as the squad captured the Caribbean Basketball Confederation’s bronze medal and qualified for the 2015 FIBA America’s Championship.
- Has also been on the staffs at NCAA Division II program's Valdosta State, Virginia Union, and most recently Shaw.
- Became the Salem program's six head coach this fall after spending the last two seasons as an assistant at Shaw.
