Brianne Coleman Joins USA South Staff

Brianne Coleman is the newest addition to the USA South Athletic Conference staff after being named Social Media/Operations Intern. Coleman will begin immediately and assist in the overall communications efforts of the Conference which includes website maintenance, graphic design, photo editing, and social media content. Additionally, Coleman will be an integral part of special initiatives the Conference has planned for the 2024-25 academic year.

Coleman joins the USA South from League member Methodist University where she recently served two years as the Assistant to the Deputy Director of Athletics. During her time with the Monarchs, she provided direct operations and informational support to athletics and academic staff. Coleman's USA South ties extend to her alma mater, Salem College, where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science after competing as a softball student-athlete for four seasons. She was a two-time All-Conference performer and the 2019 Rookie of the Year as a Spirit. Finally, Coleman received the 2021-2022 Salem Nan Tilley Athletics Department Service Award as well as the 2018-2019 Salem Athlete of the Year Award.

"I am excited for the opportunity to join the USA South Athletic Conference," shared Coleman. "I have called this Conference home since the day I started my collegiate softball career. I can't wait to experience Division III athletics from the perspective of a conference office and am eager to learn and contribute my skills to the ever-expanding efforts of the League."

"We are extremely excited that Brianne is able to join our team," stated Dr. Tom Hart, USA South Commissioner. "Brianne's skill set, experience working with a member institution, and the fact that she is a former USA South student-athlete confirmed in our minds that she will be a great fit. We are also grateful for the NCAA Grant program that provides this opportunity."
