Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Abigail Snyder, Southern Virginia - The Rocky Ford, Colorado senior guard averaged 18.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.7 steals per game as the Knights posted a 2-1 record last week. In an 83-66 loss to fourth-ranked Washington University (Mo.), Snyder recorded her 1,000th career point by scoring 16 points with six rebounds, and one assist. In a 62-49 win over Wellesley, Snyder totaled 22 points, five rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Finally, in an 86-42 victory over USA South foe Salem, Snyder notched a double-double of 18 points and ten rebounds to go along with six assists and three steals. Des'Myah Croom, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman forward from Mount Olive, North Carolina scored eight points and grabbed five rebounds with zero turnovers in the team's lone contest last week, a 67-61 win over USA South rival William Peace.
