#FlashbackFriday: Cale Matthews (Greensboro)

The USA South Athletic Conference will give a nostalgic look at institutional staff members each Friday as a part of the Conference's #FlashbackFriday initiative. The Conference will showcase a photo from the person's past and detail where they have been and how they currently serve their athletic department. Cale Matthews - Greensboro College - Assistant Football Coach
  • Former football student-athlete at Greensboro College from 2018-2022.
  • Was a wide receiver, long snapper, and punt returner during his time with the Pride.
  • Named USA South Second Team All-Conference at wide receiver in 2022.
  • First Greensboro football player to score a touchdown when the team began playing their home games on campus (Pride Field).
  • Finished at Greensboro ranked sixth in career receptions and seventh in career receiving yards.
  • Joined the Greensboro football staff in the spring of 2023 and currently serves as the Director of Football Operations, Special Teams Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach, and Director of Creative Content.
  • Has worked several Division I football camps including at Georgia, Clemson, N.C. State, and Virginia Tech.
