RALEIGH, N.C. – The Meredith lacrosse team has officially earned its 11th berth in the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The team will travel to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to face Trinity College (Conn.) in the first round of national competition on Saturday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m., hosted by Gettysburg College.
The Avenging Angels secured their NCAA tournament spot following a sweep of the regular season and conference tournament titles, continuing a proud tradition of excellence and competitive spirit that has defined the program. This marks Meredith's 11th overall appearance on the national stage, a testament to the team's sustained dominance in regional play and consistent development under the leadership of Head Coach Lauren Scott.
The opening round matchup against Trinity College (CT) promises a high-level showdown between two respected programs. The advancing team will meet host Gettysburg College in the next round on Sunday, May 11.
