Pfeiffer's Bullin Named CSC Softball Academic All-American

Austin, Texas (June 17, 2025) Pfeiffer University's Emma Bullin has been named to the Softball Division III Academic All-America® Second Team by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Bullin, a recent graduate and softball player, completed her studies in special education with a 4.0 GPA.  Eight of the 33 members of the CSC Academic All-America® Division III softball teams boasted a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate school studies.

Bullin becomes the first student-athlete in Pfeiffer's Division III era to earn the CSC Academic All-America® designation and also joins Jenny Reeves (Third Team At-Large, Tennis, 2000), Brenna Clark (First Team At-Large, Lacrosse, 2006 & 2007), Dacia Ijames (Third Team, Softball, 2007), and Brittany Cox (First Team Women's Basketball, 2012 & 2013) as the seventh CSC Academic All-America® earned by Pfeiffer student-athletes.

Additionally, Bullin is the only USA South student-athlete to be named to their respective CSC Division III Academic All-America® team during the 2024-25 season.

Bullin joins K.K. Mathis (Duke), Madison Primm (Lenoir-Rhyne), Kary Hales (Catawba) and Brianna Gallagher (Catawba) as the softball student-athletes from North Carolina that were named as CSC Academic All-America® selections.

The Division III Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America® program.
