The USA South Athletic Conference's men's golf coaches have released their 2026 pre-championship poll ahead of the League tournament. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
Methodist was picked as the favorite by the coaches to capture the tournament for the fifth consecutive season and the 36th time in the program's history. The Monarchs compiled 25 total points in the poll and secured five first place votes. Methodist currently sits ranked third in the current Clippd national Division III rankings. Southern Virginia, ranked 32nd-nationally placed second in the poll with 20 points while Greensboro, ranked 58th-nationally, rounded out the top-three with 18 points and the final first place vote.

The 2026 USA South Men's Golf Tournament will be hosted at Carolina Trace Golf Club in Sanford, North Carolina. The three-day, 54-hole event will begin on Monday, April 20 and conclude Wednesday, April 22. For more information, including a link to live results view the USA South Meet Website.
