  • Football Offensive Player of the Week
    Wyatt Locastro, Belhaven - The Memphis, Tennessee junior wide receiver caught three passes for a career-high 128 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-20, overtime, win over USA South foe Brevard last week. The two scores were the only times the Blazers reached the endzone in the second half comeback victory.     Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
    Deven Chapman, Huntingdon - The Huntsville, Alabama freshman wide receiver caught four passes for 68 yards and one touchdown in a 26-0 win over USA South foe Methodist last week. His touchdown catch came in the second quarter and covered 46 yards. Also Nominated: Camron Torrence-Kelly, Greensboro.

    Football Defensive Player of the Week
    Dee Gray, Belhaven - The Enterprise, Mississippi senior defensive back collected 11 total tackles, three pass breakups, and an overtime interception in a 23-20, overtime, victory over USA South rival Brevard. Gray accumulated eight solo tackles and three assisted take downs while his interception on Brevard's overtime possession kept them scoreless and setup the game-winning field goal.     Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
    Cade Hanson, Southern Virginia - The Highland, Utah freshman linebacker collected 14 total tackles, including one for a loss, with one quarterback hurry in a 35-22 win over USA South foe Greensboro last week. Hanson accumulated five solo tackles with nine assisted take downs. Also Nominated: DJ Stevenson, Brevard; Rashad Walker, Huntingdon; Zymarion Hudson, LaGrange.

    Football Special Teams Player of the Week
    Lyndell Boatman, Belhaven - The Eupora, Mississippi junior place kicker connected on three field goals including a walk-off overtime winner in a 23-20, overtime, victory over USA South foe Brevard last week. Boatman was good from 28, 23, and 18 yards out on the day while also hitting both of his point-after-touchdown attempts. Also Nominated: Hayden Vandegriff, Brevard; Aaron Bryant, LaGrange; Alex Passey, Southern Virginia.

  • Men's Soccer Player of the Week
    Steven Floyd, Methodist - The Swansboro, North Carolina junior forward scored two goal and assisted on two others in a 0-0-2 week for the Monarchs against USA South foes. In a 2-2 draw with Pfeiffer, Floyd scored the equalizer with just five minutes remaining to secure a result. In a 3-3 tie at Brevard, Floyd was in on all three Monarch goals as he assisted on the first two scores and notched a tally of his own to give Methodist the lead in the 72nd minute.     Men's Soccer Defender of the Week
    Zach Marlier, William Peace - The Apex, North Carolina sophomore defender helped the Pacers to a 1-0-1 record, including one shutout, last week against USA South foes while scoring twice with one assist. In a 3-3 draw at N.C. Wesleyan, Marlier scored to put the Pacers ahead in the 78th minute. In a 7-0 win over Mary Baldwin, Marlier helped the Pacer defense allow just two shots on goal while he scored one goal and assisted on another.     Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
    Ibra Ndiaye, William Peace - The Raleigh, North Carolina freshman forward scored three times in a 1-0-1 week for the Pacers against USA South foes. In a 3-3 draw at N.C. Wesleyan, Ndiaye scored an equalizing goal in the 60th minute. In a 7-0 win over Mary Baldwin, Ndiaye scored the opening, and eventual game-winning goal, in the second minute before adding another in the 30th minute.   • Women's Soccer Player of the Week
    Delin Peterson, Southern Virginia - The Queen Creek, Arizona freshman forward scored six times as the Knights posted a 2-0 record last week. In a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon, Peterson notched two goals including the eventual game-winner at the 19-minute mark to open the scoring. In an 11-0 victory over USA South foe William Peace, Peterson scored four goals, including two back-to-back tallies within eight minutes of each other.     Women's Soccer Defender of the Week
    Hailey Gadd, Southern Virginia - The Kaysville, Utah senior defender helped the Knight defense post two shutouts while also scoring twice with one assist in a 2-0 week. In a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon, the Knight defense allowed six shots on goal while Gadd scored the team's second goal of the match. In an 11-0 victory over USA South foe William Peace, the Knights allowed just one shot on goal as Gadd scored once and assisted on another tally.     Lillie Davis, Meredith - The senior setter from Roxboro, North Carolina averaged 11.00 assists and 3.60 digs per set as the Avenging Angels posted a 3-0 record last week versus USA South foes Methodist, Mary Baldwin, and Salem. Davis posted two double-doubles to go along with week match-highs of 46 assists, 16 digs, one kill (twice), one block, and one service ace (twice).     Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week
    Morgan Mayfield, Greensboro - The senior libero from Mount Airy, North Carolina averaged 5.63 digs and 1.50 assists per set as the Pride posted a 3-0 record last week with wins over USA South foes Salem and Pfeiffer to go along with a victory over Johnson & Wales (N.C.). Mayfield posted week match-highs of 19 digs, six assists, and three service aces (twice).     Charleigh Anne Hewett, Methodist - The freshman setter from Whiteville, North Carolina averaged 11.33 assists and 3.82 digs per set as the Monarchs posted a 1-2 record last week versus USA South foes with a win over William Peace coupled with losses to Meredith and Salem. Hewett posted two double-doubles to go along with week match-highs of a career-high 52 assists, 21 digs, three kills, and one block (twice).     Cannon Powell, Pfeiffer - The Harrisburg, North Carolina junior placed 60th out of 407 runners at the Lehigh Paul Short Run last week. Powell completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 25:25. Also Nominated: Chance McCubbin, Methodist; Taylor Weiland, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
    Jorge Clemente-Garcia, Pfeiffer - The China Grove, North Carolina freshman placed 213th out of 407 runners at the Lehigh Paul Short Run last week. Clemente-Garcia completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 26:37. Also Nominated: Chance McCubbin, Methodist; Taylor Weiland, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
    Emma Hillam, Southern Virginia - The Fruitland, Idaho sophomore placed 92nd out of 404 runners at the Lehigh Paul Short Run last week. Hillam completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:43. Also Nominated: Triana Smallwood, Salem.

    Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
    Kaylee Horner, Southern Virginia - The Springfield, Virginia freshman placed 105th out of 404 runners at the Lehigh Paul Short Run last week. Horner completed the 6,000-meter course in a personal-best time of 22:50. Also Nominated: Yamile Lopez Dominguez, Methodist; Ashlynn Owens, Salem.
