LAGRANGE, Ga. – The accolades continue to pour in for sophomore defensive lineman Zymarion Hudson (Cordele, Ga.) of the LaGrange College football team, as he has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week for the week ending October 11, 2026, in an announcement by the website on Tuesday.

The Marketing & Entrepreneurship major set a new single-game program record for the Panthers with four sacks in a 35-0 shutout of USA South rival Methodist last week. He also tied the single-game LaGrange record with five total unassisted tackles-for-loss, which pushed back the Monarch offense 32 yards.

At press time, Hudson leads the Panthers and the USA South with 6.5 sacks on the season, ranking him seventh in the nation with 1.3 sacks per game through five games. He also ranks second in the nation in tackles-for-a-loss per game at 2.30.

Hudson is the second Panther to earn D3Football.com Team of the Week honors for this season, joining teammate sophomore linebacker Jayven Hall (Roswell, Ga.) who was recognized for the week of September 19th, 2026.

LaGrange is back on the field next Saturday when they travel to Brevard College for a 1:00 p.m. game in a much-anticipated contest between two of the USA South's best programs.
