  • Baseball Player of the Week
    Austin Rinzel, Methodist - The junior centerfielder from Columbia, South Carolina went a combined 13-for-17 (.765) with an .800 on-base percentage, and a 1.118 slugging percentage to go along with 11 runs scored, six RBI, two home runs, two walks, and two stolen bases as the Monarchs posted a 3-1 record last week. In a 15-10 win over fourth-ranked Belhaven, Rinzel was 3-for-4 with four runs scored, two RBI, one walk, and one stolen base. In taking two of three games from USA South foe Southern Virginia, Rinzel was a combined 10-for-13 with seven runs scored, four RBI, his first two collegiate home runs, and one stolen base.     Baseball Pitcher of the Week
    James Eason, Pfeiffer - The sophomore from Rockingham, North Carolina appeared in one game, a start, last week for the Falcons, earning a win in a 7-0 victory at USA South rival William Peace. Eason tossed eight scoreless innings, allowing just three hits with four walks and seven strikeouts.     Baseball Rookie of the Week
    Brayden Sands, Greensboro - The freshman third baseman from Bradenton, Florida went a combined 8-for-15 (.533) with a .600 on-base percentage, and a .667 slugging percentage to go along with seven runs scored, three RBI, two doubles, four walks, and one stolen base in a 3-1 week for the Pride. In a 9-6 win over Muskingum, Sands was 2-for-5 with one run scored. In taking two of three games from USA South rival N.C. Wesleyan, Sands was a combined 6-for-10 with six runs scored, three RBI, two doubles, four walks, and one stolen base.     Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Sean Jennison, Methodist - The freshman from Trinity, North Carolina appeared in two games, both starts, and earned two wins last week for the Monarchs. In eight total innings pitched, Jennison posted a 2.25 ERA by allowing two runs on six hits with three walks and five strikeouts. In a pre-determined four inning-max performance against fourth-ranked Belhaven, the Monarchs got a 15-10 win as Jennison allowed two runs on three hits with one walk and three strikeouts.     Ragan Holloman, N.C. Wesleyan - The graduate student outfielder from Louisburg, North Carolina went a combined 6-for-7 (.857) with a .900 on-base percentage, and a 1.000 slugging percentage as the Battling Bishops slit a doubleheader at Averett in their lone contests last week. Holloman posted five runs scored, four RBI, one double, and three walks in the two games.     Softball Pitcher of the Week
    Reagan Stewart, William Peace - The senior from Garner, North Carolina appeared in four games, three starts, and earned a 3-0 record last week for the Pacers. In 18.0 total innings pitched, Stewart posted a 1.56 ERA while allowing five runs, four earned, on 19 hits with four walks and 18 strikeouts. Most notably, in an 8-7 win over 11th-ranked Moravian, Stewart got the victory by tossing four innings and allowing two runs, one earned, on six hits with one walk and four strikeouts.     Sabrina Cox, William Peace - The freshman outfielder from Cleveland, North Carolina went a combined 6-for-10 (.600) with a .636 on-base percentage, and a .600 slugging percentage to go along with five runs scored, one run batted in, and one walk as the Pacers posted a 4-2 record last week. Most notably, in an 6-5 loss to seventh-ranked East Texas Baptist, Cox was a perfect 3-for-3 with one run scored and one run batted in. Also Nominated: Caleigh Warf, N.C.     Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Ava Strickland, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Benson, North Carolina appeared in two games, both in relief, and went 1-0 with a 0.84 ERA in 8.1 total innings. Strickland allowed three total runs, one earned, on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts. In a 12-7 win over Averett, Strickland got the victory by tossing 5.2 runs and allowing one run on four hits with zero walks and one strikeout.   • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Ethan Miles, Pfeiffer - The junior attackman from Charlotte, North Carolina totaled eight points on six goals and two assists with five ground balls and one caused turnover in the team's lone contest last week, a 16-12 win at USA South foe Southern Virginia.     Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Ethan Schellenberger, Huntingdon - The freshman goalie from Winter Springs, Florida totaled 11 saves with three ground balls in the team's lone contest last week, a 15-4 victory at USA South rival William Peace.     Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Evan Bingham, Piedmont - The freshman attackman from Asheville, North Carolina totaled eight points on seven goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Lions. In a 24-3 win over LaGrange, Bingham scored five times. In an 18-5 victory at Methodist, Bingham tallied two goals with one assist.   • Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Savannah Limehouse, Piedmont - The junior attacker from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina totaled 13 points on 11 goals and two assists to go along with 11 draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers as the Lions posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South foes. In a 23-1 win at Huntingdon, Limehouse scored seven goals with eight draw controls, two ground balls, and one caused turnover. In a 23-3 victory over Pfeiffer, Limehouse totaled four goals, two assists, three draw controls, two ground balls, and one caused turnover.     Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Ellie Patterson, Southern Virginia - The senior midfielder from Meridian, Idaho totaled 11 caused turnovers, eight ground balls, and two draw controls, to go along with five goals and six assists, as the Knights posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South opponents. In a 10-8 win at Pfeiffer, Patterson caused four turnovers, grabbed three ground balls, and had two draw controls with one goal and two assists. In a 20-0 shutout over N.C. Wesleyan, Patterson caused seven turnovers with five ground balls to go along with four goals scored and four assists.     Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    KP Pageot, Greensboro - The freshman midfielder from Jacksonville, North Carolina totaled six points on four goals and two assists with nine ground balls, six draw controls, and three caused turnovers as the Pride posted a 1-1 record last week. In a 20-9 loss to Pitt-Bradford, Pageot scored once with two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls. In a 15-3 victory over USA South foe Brevard, Pageot scored three times with two assists, seven ground balls, four draw controls, and one caused turnover.   • Men's Tennis Player of the Week
    Matthew Hurley, Methodist - The senior from Faulconbridge, New South Wales, Australia posted a 3-0 singles record with a 3-0 doubles mark last week for the Monarchs. In singles, at the number-one spot, Hurley defeated opponents from Goucher, Albright, and Roanoke. In doubles, he teamed with Decklan Rayner at the number-two position to grab the three wins.     Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Valter Albuquerque, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil posted a 3-1 singles record with a 2-1 doubles mark last week for the Falcons, all at the top spots. In singles, Albuquerque defeated opponents from Western New England, Messiah, and Gordon with a loss to Lake Forest. In doubles, he teamed with Jayden Wellman to get wins over opposition from Messiah and Gordon. Also Nominated: Aaron Zoubek, Methodist; Largo Koch, N.C. Wesleyan.

    Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Ben Russell and Adam Singleton, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a victory in their only match last week, a 6-4 win at the number-one spot over opponents from Division I Campbell. Also Nominated: Noah Boyles and Ayden Montero, Brevard; Harry Crokam Aaron Zoubek, Methodist; Aissultan Mukhambetov and Bogdon Stan, Pfeiffer.

  • Women's Tennis Player of the Week
    Emma Hulicki, Methodist - The junior from Raleigh, North Carolina earned 3-0 singles record with a 2-1 doubles mark last week, all at the number-one positions. In singles, Hulicki earned wins over opposition from Goucher, Albright, and Roanoke. In doubles, she teamed Shea Bieniek to collect victories over Goucher and Roanoke. Also Nominated: Gracie Spangler, Pfeiffer.

    Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Shea Bieniek, Methodist - The freshman from Fayetteville, North Carolina earned a 4-0 singles record with a 2-1 doubles mark last week for the Monarchs. In singles at the number-four spot, Bieniek grabbed wins over opposition from Goucher, Albright, and Roanoke with a victory at the number-one position over an opponent from McDaniel. In doubles, she teamed with Emma Hulicki to collect victories over Goucher and Roanoke at the number-one position. Also Nominated: Molly Zuburg, Meredith; Addison Furr, Pfeiffer.

    Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Kristen Colie and Gracie Spangler, Pfeiffer - The Falcon duo earned a 3-0 record last week. The victories came over opponents from Western New England at the number-two spot with wins over Messiah and Gordon at the number-three position. Also Nominated: Shea Bieniek and Emma Hulicki, Methodist.
