The USA South Athletic Conference will once again give institutions the opportunity to spotlight student-athletes each Wednesday as a part of the Conference's #WhyD3Wednesday initiative. In its ninth year, #WhyD3Wednesday allows student-athletes to briefly explain why they chose to attend their Division III institution as well as share some of their favorite things in life. To view this week's submission, please see below and make sure to follow the hashtag #WhyD3Wednesday on the USA South's X (@usa_south) and Instagram (@usa_south) social media platforms throughout the year as League student-athletes share their stories.
Kenzie Todd - Meredith College - Junior - Women's Lacrosse
"I chose to attend Meredith to play Division III lacrosse because, as soon as I stepped on campus, I was not only welcomed but also remembered. I fell in love with the grit that Meredith Lacrosse showed on and off the field. The coaching staff goes out of their way to support you both on and off the field, showing up for you in the classroom, outside of class time, as well as for you and your teammates on the field. Specifically, Coach Scott gave me the opportunity to play the sport I love most while prioritizing academics and meeting my best friends along the way."
