  • Baseball Player of the Week
    Trevor Testerman, Greensboro - The junior outfielder from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina went a combined 7-for-12 (.583) with a .643 on-base percentage, and a 1.417 slugging percentage as the Pride took two of three games from USA South rival Methodist last week. Testerman totaled five runs scored, six RBI, one double, three home runs, three walks, and one stolen base in the series.     Baseball Pitcher of the Week
    Blake Argenbright, Mary Baldwin - The senior from Churchill, Virginia earned a win in his only appearance last week, a start in a 10-1 victory over USA South foe William Peace. Argenbright tossed five shutout innings, allowing four hits and one walk with one strikeout in the win.     Baseball Rookie of the Week
    Kahner Moss, William Peace - The freshman outfielder from Culpeper, Virginia went a combined 9-for-16 (.563) with a .556 on-base percentage, and a .750 slugging percentage to go along with six runs scored, three RBI, three doubles, one walk, and four stolen bases as the Pacers posted a 3-1 record last week. In an 8-2 win over Roanoke, Moss was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and one double. In taking two of three games from USA South foe Mary Baldwin, Moss was a combined 7-for-11 with four runs scored, three RBI, two doubles, one walk, and four stolen bases.     Cameron Cooper, Pfeiffer - The freshman from New London, North Carolina earned a save in his only appearance last week for the Falcons, a 10-4 win over USA South rival Brevard.   • Softball Player of the Week
    Landry Stewart, Pfeiffer - The junior outfielder from China Grove, North Carolina went a combined 7-for-8 (.875) with an .875 on-base percentage, and a 1.500 slugging percentage as the Falcons swept a doubleheader from USA South foe Salem in the team's lone contests last week. Stewart totaled six runs scored, one run batted in, one double, two triples, and one stolen base in the doubleheader.     Emmaline DeGroot, Southern Virginia - The sophomore from Uintah, Utah appeared in two games, one start, and earned a win and a save last week for the Knights. In 7.2 total innings pitched against USA South foes, DeGroot did not allow a run on six hits with one walk and one strikeout. In a 1-0 win over William Peace, DeGroot tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing four hits and one walk with one strikeout. In a 9-7 win over N.C.     Softball Rookie of the Week
    Vivian Lloyd, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman outfielder from La Plata, Maryland went a combined 8-for-12 (.667) with a .692 on-base percentage, and a .750 slugging percentage to go along with one run scored, one run batted in, one double, and one walk as the Battling Bishops posted a 1-3 record last week. In two losses versus Randolph-Macon, Lloyd was a combined 3-for-6 with one run batted in. In a doubleheader split with USA South foe Southern Virginia, Lloyd was a combined 5-for-6 with one run scored, one double, and one walk. Also Nominated: Eliza Patterson, Southern Virginia; E.A.     Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Abigail Bowman, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Lenoir, North Carolina appeared in one game, a start, last week and got the win. In a 16-0, five-inning, victory over USA South foe Salem, Bowman tossed four scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk with six strikeouts.   • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Clay Haacke, Southern Virginia - The senior attackman from Syracuse, Utah totaled 13 points on ten goals and three assists with four ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Knights against USA South rivals. In a 21-9 win over Greensboro, Haacke scored four times with one assist and three ground balls. In a 28-1 victory over Brevard, Haacke totaled six goals, two assists, two caused turnovers, and one ground balls.     Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Kaleb Simpson, Pfeiffer - The senior faceoff specialist from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was 11-of-12 at the X in the team's lone contest last week, a 28-2 win at USA South foe LaGrange. Simpson also accumulated ten ground balls in the victory.     Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Myles Nielson, Southern Virginia - The freshman attackman from Tremonton, Utah totaled 15 points on six goals and nine assists with six ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Knights against USA South rivals. In a 21-9 win over Greensboro, Nielson scored three times with two assists, two ground balls, and one caused turnover. In a 28-1 victory over Brevard, Nielson totaled three goals, seven assists, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.     Kenzie Todd, Meredith - The junior attacker from Brookfield, Connecticut totaled 16 points on 12 goals and four assists to go along with six ground balls and one caused turnover in a 2-0 week for the Avenging Angels against USA South foes. In a 16-2 win at Methodist, Todd scored five times with one assist and one caused turnover. In a 24-4 victory over Southern Virginia, Todd produced seven goals, three assists, and six ground balls.     Katherine Couch, Meredith - The junior defender from Cortlandt, New York totaled six caused turnovers, eight ground balls, and nine draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Avenging Angels against USA South foes. In a 16-2 win at Methodist, Couch caused three turnovers, grabbed five ground balls, and collected three draw controls. In a 24-4 victory over Southern Virginia, Couch produced three caused turnovers, three ground balls, and six draw controls.     Valter Albuquerque, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil posted singles and doubles wins at the number-one positions in his lone match of last week against USA South foe Brevard. In doubles, Albuquerque teamed with Jayden Wellman to grab the victory. Also Nominated: Adam Singleton, N.C. Wesleyan.

    Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week

  • Women's Tennis Player of the Week
    Bethan Fothergill, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior from Ipswich, UK earned a 2-1 singles record with a 2-1 doubles mark last week. In singles at the number-one spot, Fothergill earned wins over opposition from Virginia Wesleyan and USA South foe Meredith while dropping a match at the number-two position to an opponent from Division-I Campbell. In doubles, at the number-one position, she was with two different teammates to grab wins over opponents from Virginia Wesleyan and USA South foe Meredith.     Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Erika Read, Southern Virginia - The freshman from Tremonton, Utah posted singles and doubles wins at the number-two positions in her lone match of last week against USA South foe Salem.     Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Bethan Fothergill and Renata Torres, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 1-1 record last week at the number-one position. The victory came over opponents from Virginia Wesleyan while the loss was to a team from Division-I Campbell.   • Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Jordan Jones, Pfeiffer - The sophomore from Gastonia, North Carolina competed in two events at the High Point VertKlasse Meeting last week, setting two program records. In the 100 meters, Jones finished in a time of 10.13 while in the 200 meters, he completed the race in 21.12. Also Nominated: Tydrick Stewart, Methodist; Jamel Corey, N.C. Wesleyan; Zeke Newman, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
    McCormick Johnson, Southern Virginia - The sophomore from Houston, Texas competed in the pole vault at the William & Mary Colonial Relays last week. Johnson set a new personal and program record with a best effort was 4.62 meters. Also Nominated: Tyrell Bailey, Brevard; Drake Stewart, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    Jamel Corey, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Washington, North Carolina competed in two events at the Embry-Riddle Invitational last week. In the 200 meters, Corey finished in a time of 21.44 while in the 100 meters, he completed the race in 10.75. Also Nominated: Sawyer Apple, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Rookie of the Week
    Tyrell Bailey, Brevard - The freshman from Greenville, South Carolina competed in the triple jump at the Brevard Tornado Classic last week with a best effort of 14.28 meters. Also Nominated: Rahnier Lyons, Pfeiffer; Eran James, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Bayleigh Redd-Armstrong, Southern Virginia - The junior from Spanish Fork, Utah competed in two events at the William & Mary Colonial Relays last week. In the 5,000 meters, Redd-Armstrong finished in a time of 16:55.52, setting a new personal, program, and USA South record. Redd-Armstrong also completed the 1,600-meter leg of the distance medley relay for the Knights. Also Nominated: Nicole Black, Mary Baldwin, Abigail Clayton, Meredith; Kamiyah Wooten, N.C. Wesleyan.

    Women's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    NaQuayla Stanford, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Jacksonville, North Carolina competed in two events at the Embry-Riddle Invitational last week. In the 200 meters, Stanford finished in a time of 24.71 while in the 100 meters, she completed the race in 12.33.
