Methodist Wins USA South Men's Golf Tournament

(SANFORD, NC) - The 2026 USA South Men's Golf Tournament has finished its final round at Carolina Trace Golf Club in Sanford, North Carolina with Methodist capturing the championship for the fifth consecutive year and the 36th time in program history.

The Monarchs led from start to finish, posting a 19-over par 883 to take the title over second-place Greensboro's 62-over par 926. Placing third with a 63-over par 927 was Southern Virginia.

Individually, Methodist's Haden Ruby earned medalist honors with a three-under par 213. Ruby's teammate, Beau Brewer placed second with a two-over par 218 followed by Pfeiffer's Wyatt Reeder in third with a six-over par 222. Southern Virginia's Nikko Taggart placed fourth with an eight-over par 224 while Greensboro's Watcharakan Chankarn finished fifth with a ten-over par 226 to round out the top-five.
