MISENHEIMER, N.C. — Fresh off their fourth-consecutive USA South Tournament Title and another appearance in the NCAA Regional Tournament, Pfeiffer University had multiple players earn All-Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), with four being named to the 2026 NCAA Division III All-Region VI team, highlighted by three first-team selections.
Leading the way for Pfeiffer were Heather Vaughn, Landry Stewart, and Mollie Bulla, who each garnered NFCA First Team All-Region VI recognition.
Vaughn, a freshman first baseman from Eli Whitney, N.C., turned in a standout debut season to earn first-team honors at her position. This past season, Vaughn also earned USA South Rookie of the Year honors and was first team All-USA South selection at first base.
Stewart, a junior outfielder, was recognized as one of the top outfielders in the region after an impressive all-around campaign. Stewart was also named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team and was a first team All-USA South selection at outfield while collecting her second USA South Player of the Year honors in as many years.
Bulla, a sophomore utility/pitcher, earned first-team distinction for her versatility and impact both in the circle and at the plate. Bulla was also selected to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team and was a USA South All-Conference First Team selection as a utility player.
In addition, Abigail Bowman secured NFCA Third Team All-Region VI honors. The freshman pitcher capped a strong season by being named among the region's top performers. Bowman was named All-USA South First Team and was the league's Rookie Pitcher of the Year.
NFCA All-Region honors are voted on by member coaches and recognize the top athletes in each of the association's 10 regions. First-team selections advance to consideration for All-America honors later this season.
