Pfeiffer's Jones Earns All-American Honors

LA CROSSE, WI (May 23, 2026)- Pfeiffer University standout Jordan Jones delivered a historic performance on the national stage, earning All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 200-meter dash on Saturday afternoon.

Jones, a sophomore sprinter, entered the championship meet as one of the nation's premier short sprinters after qualifying in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes. 

On Saturday, Jones finished fifth in the 200m, clocking a time of 21.20 earning first team All-American honors.  Earlier in the weekend, Jones qualified for the finals with a 21.28 in the preliminary heats.  Salisbury's Kai Smith won the individual 200m title with a 20.42.

Jones also competed in the 100m over the weekend, as he finished 11th in preliminary competition with a 10.49 on Friday, May 22, earning second team All-American honors.
