The Division III Commissioners Association (D3CA) has recognized USA South Athletic Conference Commissioner Dr. Tom Hart for ten years of dedicated service to the organization. Hart, who joined the USA South in 2016, has served the D3CA as a member of its Executive Board and has contributed to both the Awards and Championships Committees.

A veteran administrator with more than 30 years of experience in Division III athletics, Hart has guided the USA South through significant membership growth, conference realignment, and enhanced student-athlete programming. His leadership has included expanding communication initiatives, supporting national governance engagement, and strengthening championship operations across the league.

Prior to his time with the USA South, Hart served as Director of Athletics at both Webster University and Berry College, building successful programs and contributing to national committees, including chairing the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Committee. His career has been marked by a commitment to student-athlete success, institutional collaboration, and the advancement of Division III values.

The D3CA’s recognition celebrates Hart’s sustained impact on conference leadership and his longstanding service to the Division III community.
