The USA South Athletic Conference will once again give institutions the opportunity to spotlight student-athletes each Wednesday as a part of the Conference's #WhyD3Wednesday initiative. In its tenth year, #WhyD3Wednesday allows student-athletes to briefly explain why they chose to attend their Division III institution as well as share some of their favorite things in life. To view this week's submission, please see below and make sure to follow the hashtag #WhyD3Wednesday on the USA South's X (@usa_south) and Instagram (@usa_south) social media platforms throughout the year as League student-athletes share their stories.

Landon Tilley - William Peace University - Junior - Men's Soccer
“My main reason for going to college was to play soccer, so I looked at a handful of Division II and Division III schools throughout North Carolina before ultimately choosing Peace. The coaching staff made me feel wanted, and I loved the location. I could experience everything the city had to offer while still being close enough to home and my family. More than anything, there was just something about the way Peace felt. After our campus tour, my mom told me she thought it was the right place for me, not because of anything she thought about the school, but because she could see it in my face while we were there."
