George Named New Willliam Peace Head Men's Golf Coach
RALEIGH, N.C. -- William Peace University is proud to announce Todd George as the new Head Men's Golf Coach. George joins the Pacers as a proud Class A member of the PGA of America with a wealth of knowledge in the instruction and development of athletes in the game of golf.

Prior to joining WPU, George operated the Todd George Golf Academy at the Triangle Golf Center in Raleigh, NC. George was also a Calloway Golf Tech Rep for central North Carolina. George has also served as the Head Golf Pro and Assistant Golf Pro for the HIllandale Golf Club, the Players Club in Southport,  the Governors Club in Chapel Hill, the Golfenlagen Velden in Austria, Golf Academy of the South in Casselberry, FL, the Raleigh Country Club, Wake Forest Country Club, Vermillion Hills Country Club, and North Ridge Country Club.

WPU Director of Athletics, Kevin Daniels, shares,"We've made a great move in hiring Coach George. He comes to us with an extensive background in the game and a tenacity for coaching. I'm looking forward to what he brings to our campus community and our department."

George's playing experience includes competing on the Montana State University-Billings Men's Golf team and participating and winning several Carolinas PGA Pro-Ams. George was a two-time participant in the Nicklaus Cup in Arizona and Mexico, and also the Carolinas PGA Pro-Am in Ireland and the Carolinas PGA Pro-Am in Las Vegas.

In his free time, George enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf competitively.
