NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America recently released the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars. Huntingdon senior Jon Colten Stanaland and junior Stephen Shephard were among 37 golfers named All-America Scholars. The two Hawks were among three golfers from the USA South to receive the recognition.
To be eligible for Division III All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, have competed in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participated in at least 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds and have a stroke-average under 79 and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. Recipients must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
