(ROCKY MOUNT, NC) - The 2023 USA South Women's Tennis Tournament has concluded with top-seed, and host, N.C. Wesleyan capturing the title with a 5-0 win over second-seeded Methodist. This is the Battling Bishop program's fifth tournament championship. 

After sweeping through doubles, the Bishops got singles wins by number-two Elisa Mariotti and number-three Cristina Mendoza Romero to clinch the championship. It was ultimately Mariotti who won the title-clinching match with a 6-0, 6-4 victory. The remaining four singles matches went unfinished.
