The first round of the 2025 USA South Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Tournament has concluded with all four of the higher-seeded teams claiming victories.

Top-seeded Southern Virginia led throughout in advancing past eighth-seeded William Peace, 83-43. Second-seeded Brevard put on an offensive show in taking down seventh-seeded Greensboro, 103-31. Third-seeded N.C. Wesleyan stepped on the gas in the second half to secure a 82-41 win against sixth-seeded Meredith. Finally, fourth-seeded Methodist pulled away in the final quarter in a 63-48 victory over fifth-seeded Pfeiffer.

The semifinal round is now set as Methodist will travel to Southern Virginia and N.C. Wesleyan will head to Brevard for games on Thursday, February 27. The winners of those contests will meet for the tournament title hosted by the highest-remaining seed on Saturday, March 1.
