The USA South Athletic Conference will once again give institutions the opportunity to spotlight student-athletes each Wednesday as a part of the Conference's #WhyD3Wednesday initiative. In its tenth year, #WhyD3Wednesday allows student-athletes to briefly explain why they chose to attend their Division III institution as well as share some of their favorite things in life. "I chose Division III because it gave me the opportunity to continue playing competitive college basketball while also being able to focus on my education. I wanted basketball to be an important part of my college experience, but I also wanted to have time to focus on my degree and my future career. I chose Meredith because when I visited I immediately felt like everyone was part of a family. Since being here, the girls on the team have become like sisters to me. I love being around them and they have made my college experience so much better. The relationships between players, coaches, and professors stood out to me and made me feel supported both on and off the court. The positive culture at Meredith was a big reason why I knew it was the right place for me."
