(RALEIGH, NC) - The championship of the 2025 USA South Women's Lacrosse tournament has been decided on the campus of Meredith College. The top-seeded host Avenging Angels pulled away from the second-seeded Monarchs to earn a 22-4 victory and the program's 11th consecutive tournament crown.

The first quarter was tight and saw Methodist take a 3-2 lead with 59 seconds remaining. The Avenging Angels closed the quarter with two goals to take a 4-3 lead into the second stanza and never looked back. After that first-quarter deficit, Meredith scored the next 20 goals of the game. The Avenging Angles shutout the Monarchs in the second quarter, 11-0, and again in the third quarter, 4-0, to help cruise to the win.

Leading the way offensively for Meredith were Kenzie Todd and Reese Walker who each tallied five goals. Elle White added four goals while Regan Amiott caused a game-high three turnovers. For Methodist, Kennedy Martin totaled a team-high two points with one goal and one assist.
