Huntingdon's Gorden Receives WGCA All-American Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – The Women's Golf Coaches Association has announced the remaining 2024-25 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division III Women's Collegiate Golf. The Division III PING WGCA Player of the Year, Division III Golf Pride WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year, and the Division III Jackie Steinmann WGCA National Coach of the Year Presented by Golf Pride were awarded following play at the NCAA Championships, while additional student-athletes were named to the WGCA All-American Teams based on their finish at the NCAA Championships. 

After taking fifth place individually at the NCAA Championship, Yvette Gorden has brought home All-American, honorable mention honors. Throughout the entirety of the Spring 2025 season, Gorden led the Hawks, boasting a scoring average of 71.5, claiming the individual title at the USA South Championships while securing another top-3 finish in the season. Through 14 rounds of competition as a member of Huntingdon's program, she has cemented herself among the nation's top golfers, being ranked #2 in the region and #7 nationally.
