GREENSBORO, N.C.  The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced its 2025 NCAA Division III Region All-Defensive Teams for all ten regions on Thursday. Making an appearance on the Region 6 All-Defensive Team is Methodist's Brandon Mauger.
 
Mauger, a sophomore, was the Monarchs' everyday second baseman, committing just two errors in 43 games. One of the errors occurred after he slid over to shortstop, not his natural position, in a lopsided win over Westminster College.
 
Throughout the season, he recorded 115 putouts and 104 assists, giving him a .991 fielding percentage. He also helped turn 28 double plays, the second-most on the team.

Founded in 1945, the American Baseball Coaches Association is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 15,000 members represent all 50 states and 41 countries.
