BREVARD, N.C. - On the heels of the best start to a season in the NCAA era for Brevard College baseball, junior shortstop Nico Bartolotti was selected to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week.

Bartolotti, a product of Lake Wylie, S.C., went 7-for-11 (.636) in four contests for the Tornados, scoring six runs with nine RBI including a six-RBI performance in the season opener against JWU Charlotte. 

Starting in 35 games for BC in 2025, Bartolotti hit .309 with 38 base hits, 22 RBI, 18 runs scored, and nine doubles. 

Brevard will look to continue its winning ways, beginning a three-game series at Gil Coan Field against Capital with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 11 a.m.
