  • Baseball Player of the Week
    Jack Brandle, Pfeiffer - The junior first baseman from Concord, North Carolina went a combined 5-for-9 (.556) with a .636 on-base percentage, and a 1.333 slugging percentage to go along with four runs scored, six RBI, one double, two home runs, and two walks as the Falcons posted a 3-0 record last week. In a 16-6 win at Johnson & Wales (N.C.), Brandle was 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. In sweeping a doubleheader from USA South foe Southern Virginia, Brandle was a combined 3-for-5 with four runs scored, four RBI, two home runs, and two walks.     Baseball Pitcher of the Week
    Isaiah Faudoa, Greensboro - The senior from Houston, Texas tossed a complete-game, seven-inning, shutout in his only appearance last week, a 10-0 win over USA South rival William Peace.     Baseball Rookie of the Week
    Ben Mecimore, Pfeiffer - The freshman catcher/outfielder from Oakboro, North Carolina went a combined 4-for-11 (.364) with a .533 on-base percentage, and a .727 slugging percentage to go along with two runs scored, six RBI, one double, one home run, two walks, and two hit-by-pitches as the Falcons posted a 3-0 record last week. In a 16-6 win at Johnson & Wales (N.C.), Mecimore was 1-for-4 with two RBI, one walk, and one hit-by-pitch. In sweeping a doubleheader from USA South foe Southern Virginia, Mecimore was a combined 3-for-7 with two runs scored, four RBI, one double, one home run, one walk, and one hit-by-pitch.     Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Jackson Pavone, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Asheville, North Carolina appeared in three games, all out of the bullpen, and earned two wins with a save. In six total shutout innings, Pavone allowed just two hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. In a 3-1 win over Guilford, Pavon tossed 3.1 shutout innings, allowing two hits with two strikeouts to grab the victory. In two victories over USA South foe Brevard, Pavone first got the final two outs of a 5-1 win to collect a save before pitching the tenth and 11th innings go grab a victory in a 9-8 win.   • Softball Player of the Week
    Rylee Locklear, Brevard - The junior second baseman from Candler, North Carolina went a combined 9-for-14 (.643) with a .773 on-base percentage, and a 1.214 slugging percentage to go along with ten runs scored, seven RBI, two doubles, three triples, five walks, and three hit-by-pitches as the Tornados posted a 3-3 record last week against USA South foes. In splitting a doubleheader with Salem, Locklear was a combined 3-for-4 with four runs scored, two RBI, two triples, two walks, and one hit-by-pitch. In a doubleheader split with Mary Baldwin, Locklear was a combined 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two walks, and one hit-by-pitch. Finally, in splitting a doubleheader with Southern Virginia, Locklear was a combined 4-for-6 with four runs scored, five RBI, two doubles, one triple, one walk, and one hit-by-pitch.     Ella Ebert, Greensboro - The senior from Buffalo, Minnesota appeared in two games, one start, and earned a 1-0 record last week for the Pride. In 9.1 total innings pitched against USA South foes, Ebert did not allow a run on six hits with three walks and four strikeouts. In a 3-1 loss to N.C. Wesleyan Ebert did all she could to help the Pride by pitching 3.1 shutout innings. In a 5-0 victory over Methodist, Ebert tossed five shutout innings, allowing just three hits and two walks with three strikeouts.     E.A. Nance, Pfeiffer - The freshman utility player from Cleveland, North Carolina went a combined 9-for-15 (.600) with a .625 on-base percentage, and a 1.000 slugging percentage to go along with seven runs scored, nine runs batted in, three doubles, one home run, and one walk as the Falcons posted a 6-0 record last week. In sweeps of USA South foes Southern Virginia and Mary Baldwin, Nance was a combined 6-for-11 with six runs scored, six RBI, one double, one home run, and one walk.     Softball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
    Kendall Wallace, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Holly Springs, North Carolina appeared in three games, two starts, last week and posted three wins against USA South foes William Peace, Greensboro, and Salem. In 14.2 total innings, Wallace accumulated a 0.95 ERA, allowing two runs, one earned, on seven hits with seven walks and ten strikeouts. Wallace picked up complete game victories over William Peace and Greensboro. Also Nominated: Kenly Brown, Greensboro; Annabelle Cossa, Southern Virginia; Abigail Bowman, Pfeiffer.

  • Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Ethan Miles, Pfeiffer - The junior attackman from Matthews, North Carolina totaled 16 points on nine goals and seven assists with five ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Falcons against USA South rivals. In an 18-2 win at Methodist, Miles three goals to go along with one assist and two ground balls. In a 23-6 victory over Piedmont, Miles tallied six goals with six assists and three ground balls. Also Nominated: Justin Barry, Greensboro; Grady Eyler, Piedmont; Clay Haacke, Southern Virginia; Jaxon McMonigle, Huntingdon.

    Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Korbin Hamilton, Pfeiffer - The senior goalkeeper from Jacksonville, Florida posted two wins in a 2-0 week for the Falcons against USA South rivals. In 107 minutes played, Hamilton allowed eight goals with 19 saves and three ground balls. In an 18-2 win over Methodist, Hamilton played the first 54 minutes and allowed just two goals with 11 saves and one ground ball. In a 23-6 victory over Piedmont, Hamilton allowed six goals with eight saves and two ground balls.     Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Grady Eyler, Piedmont - The freshman attackman from Haymarket, Virginia totaled nine goals and one ground ball in a 1-1 week for the Lions. In a 19-9 win over Hendrix, Eyler scored seven times and grabbed a ground ball. In a 23-6 loss to USA South rival Pfeiffer, Eyler scored twice. Also Nominated: Landen Nary, Huntingdon; Nathan Foncilus, Greensboro; Britton Tidwell, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
    Savannah Limehouse, Piedmont - The junior midfielder from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina set a new single-game program record by scoring eight goals in a 24-1 win over USA South foe Brevard in her lone contest played last week. Limehouse also added two assists, four draw controls, and two caused turnovers in the victory.     Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
    Kate Hudson, Huntingdon - The senior midfielder from Navarre, Florida totaled 11 ground balls, ten draw controls, and eight caused turnovers to go along with five goals scored and one assist in the team's lone contest last week, a 21-1 win over USA South foe N.C. Wesleyan. Also Nominated: Lovette Choloh, Piedmont; Rylie Sturgill, Methodist; Kyla Smith-Fondall, Brevard; Elizabeth Daniels, N.C. Wesleyan; Savanna Burnett, Southern Virginia.

    Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
    Abigail Fritzsche, Methodist - The freshman midfielder from New Fairfield, Connecticut totaled new career-highs with nine points on six goals and three assists in the team's lone contest last week, a 20-0 win at USA South foe William Peace. Fritzsche also added three draw controls, one ground ball, and one caused turnover in the victory. Also Nominated: Paige Mathews, Meredith; Molly Turnan, Huntingdon; Avery Washington, Piedmont; Natalie Lopez Velez, Brevard; Loni Rogers, Southern Virginia.

  • Men's Tennis Player of the Week
    Adam Singleton, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior from Manchester, Lancashire, England posted 1-1 singles and doubles records at the number-one positions last week for the Battling Bishops. In singles, Singleton defeated the nation's 37th-ranked player, Matthew Hurley from Methodist, 6-1, 6-1, and dropped a match to an opponent from 23rd-ranked Christopher Newport. In doubles, Singleton teamed with Diego Villafane to grab a win over Methodist. Also Nominated: Ayden Montero, Brevard; Valter Albuquerque, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Valter Albuquerque, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil posted singles and doubles wins at the number-one positions in his lone match of last week against Johnson & Wales (N.C.). In doubles, Albuquerque teamed with Jayden Wellman to grab the victory. Also Nominated: Aaron Zoubek, Methodist; Indrek Raudkivi, N.C. Wesleyan.

    Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Valter Albuquerque and Jayden Wellman, Pfeiffer - The Falcon duo earned a win at the number-one spot in their only contest last week, a 6-2 victory over opponents from Johnson & Wales (N.C.). Also Nominated: Noah Boyles and Ayden Montero, Brevard.

  • Women's Tennis Player of the Week
    Andrea Elaez Miranda, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior from Lima, Peru earned a 1-1 singles record with a 2-0 doubles mark last week. In singles at the number-one spot, Elaez Miranda earned a win over opposition from USA South foe Methodist while dropping a match to an opponent from 23rd-ranked Christopher Newport. In doubles, at the number-two position, she teamed Ivanna Torres to grab wins over opponents from USA South Methodist and 23rd-ranked Christopher Newport.     Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
    Shea Bieniek, Methodist - The freshman from Fayetteville, North Carolina earned a 3-0 singles record with a 3-1 doubles mark last week for the Monarchs. In singles, at the number-four spot, Bieniek grabbed wins over opposition from USA South rivals N.C. Wesleyan and Salem, along with Lynchburg. In doubles, at the number-one spot, she teamed with Emma Hulicki to gain wins over USA South foes Meredith and Salem, as well as Lynchburg.     Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
    Andrea Elaez Miranda and Ivanna Torres, N.C. Wesleyan - The Battling Bishop duo earned a 2-0 record last week at the number-two position. The victories came over opponents from USA South rival Methodist and 23rd-ranked Christopher Newport.   • Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Logan Wade, Methodist - The junior from Snow Hill, North Carolina competed in the 100 meters at the Mount Olive Trojan Challenge last week. In the prelims, Wade set a new program record with a time of 10.49. In the finals, he completed the race in 10.59. Also Nominated: Ja’Mario Young, N.C. Wesleyan; Bricen Burleson, Pfeiffer; Zeke Newman, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
    McCormick Johnson, Southern Virginia - The sophomore from Houston, Texas competed in the pole vault at the Bridgewater Jopson Invitational last week. Johnson's best effort was 4.51 meters to finish first out of 11 participants. Also Nominated: Antonio King, Brevard; Kamren Jenkins, Methodist; Drake Stewart, Pfeiffer.

    Men's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    Ja'Mario Young, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Alexandria, Virginia competed in the 200 meters at the Eastern Carolina Carson Invitational last week. Young completed the race in a time of 21.40. Also Nominated: Sam Head, Pfeiffer; Taylor Weiland, Southern Virginia.

    Men's Outdoor Field Rookie of the Week
    Kamren Jenkins, Methodist - The freshman from Charleston, South Carolina competed in the triple jump at the Mount Olive Trojan Challenge last week with a best effort of 13.74 meters. Also Nominated: Rahnier Lyons, Pfeiffer; Eran James, Southern Virginia.

  • Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
    Kamiyah Wooten, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior from Farmville, North Carolina competed in 100 meters at the N.C. State Raleigh Relays last week finishing in a time of 12.12. Also Nominated: Abigail Clayton, Meredith; Makayla Borst, Pfeiffer; Maia Hunt, Southern Virginia; Makynna McDonald, Brevard.

    Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
    Bryanna Herring, Meredith - The sophomore from Brockport, New York competed in hammer throw at the N.C. State Raleigh Relays last week with a best effort of 43.90 meters. Also Nominated: Mikki Prows, Southern Virginia.

    Women's Outdoor Track Rookie of the Week
    Makynna McDonald, Brevard - The freshman from Rosman, North Carolina competed in three events at the Bluefield Blue Bear Invitational last week. In the 100 meters, McDonald finished in a time of 12:43 while in the 200 meters, she finished in a time of 25.95. Finally, McDonald was a member of the 4x100 meter relay team.
