Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Adrian Moore, N.C. Wesleyan - The junior guard from Plymouth, North Carolina averaged a double-double 15.3 points and 11.7 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week versus USA South competition for the Bishops. He also added 5.3 assists and 2.7 steals per contest. In a 79-74 win over Methodist, Moore tallied a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to go along with three steals. In a 59-56 victory over Covenant, Moore notched a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds with two steals, one assist and one block. Finally, in an 82-71 loss to Maryville, Moore totaled 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals. Also Nominated: Alex Bonner, LaGrange; Charles Bryant, Averett; Donavan Griffith, Greensboro; Josh Grimard, Ferrum; Rae Hall, Methodist; Colt Nokes, Maryville; Patjo Twagirayezu, Covenant; Justin Vallejo, Piedmont.

Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
A.J. Frye, N.C. Wesleyan - The Wilmington, North Carolina freshman forward averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per game in a 2-1 week versus USA South competition for the Bishops. n a 79-74 win over Methodist, Frye tallied a career-high 26 points with five rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal. In a 59-56 victory over Covenant, Frye totaled seven points and two rebounds. Finally, in an 82-71 loss to Maryville, Frye contributed 24 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Also Nominated: Moriba Diaby, Averett; Camden Ferguson, William Peace; Caleb Haynes, Covenant; Darus Maddox, Greensboro; Malcolm Walker, Maryville.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Zarkia Mattox, Ferrum - The Rocky Mount, Virginia junior guard averaged a double-double of 23.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week versus USA South competition. She also added 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest. In a 61-54 victory over William Peace, Mattox notched a double-double of 31 points and 19 rebounds to go along with five assists, two steals and one block. In a 48-46 loss to Greensboro, Mattox totaled 15 points and eight rebounds. Also Nominated: Lauren Biliter, Maryville; Brianna Barrett, Piedmont; Samm Chandler, Averett; Marilauren Farr, LaGrange; Alexis Fitzgerald, N.C. Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Christian Sanders, Methodist - The Benson, North Carolina freshman guard averaged 16.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists per game in a 2-1 week versus USA South competition for the Monarchs. In a 79-48 win over Mary Baldwin, Sanders notched her first career double-double with 23 points and a career-high 13 rebounds to go along with two assists and two blocks. In a 61-55 loss to Averett, Sanders totaled 15 points, eight rebounds, two steals and one assist. Finally, in a 56-48 victory over Meredith, Sanders tallied 11 points, seven rebounds, three steals and one assist. Also Nominated: Brooke Carthon, Averett; Katie Lewis, Greensboro; Amari Price, Piedmont; Christian Sanders, Methodist; Anna Weimerskirch, Agnes Scott.
