USA South Golf Athletes of the Week - Oct. 30, 2019

Men's Co-Golfers of the Week
Elias Haavisto, Averett - The freshman from Kotka, Finland placed seventh out of 120 golfers at The O'Briant-Jensen Memorial in Greensboro, North Carolina last week by shooting an even-par 142. In the two-round event, Haavisto shot back-to-back even-par 71s to help the Cougars tenth place team finish.

Ben Womack, LaGrange - The junior from Midland, Georgia placed tied for first out of 99 golfers at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational in Rome, Georgia two weeks ago by shooting an even-par 144. In the two-round event, Womack opened with a one-under 71 and finished with a one-over par 73 to help the Panthers first place team finish. 

Also Nominated: Henry Angier, Methodist; Nathan Hawkins, Covenant; Josh DeSain, Piedmont.

Men's Golf Rookie of the Week
