Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Torell Carter, Berea - The junior guard from Whitesburg, Kentucky notched a double-double of 27 points and ten rebounds in an 89-81 win over Johnson University Tennessee in Berea's only contest last week. Carter also added six assists, four steals and one block in the victory. Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Felix Uadiale, Maryville - The freshman forward from McDonough, Georgia scored a career-high 23 points in a 91-90 loss to Emory & Henry in Maryville's only game last week. Kate Perko, Meredith - The Fayetteville, North Carolina freshman forward notched a double-double with career highs in points (27) and rebounds (14) in a 69-66 victory over preseason nationally-ranked Christopher Newport. It was Meredith's first-ever win over Christopher Newport in 15 meetings between the programs. Perko also added four blocks and one assist in the win.
