Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Jamaal David, Pfeiffer - The junior guard from Clinton, Maryland averaged a double-double of 25.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game as the Falcons posted a 1-1 record versus USA South competition last week. In a 100-94 loss to Berea, David notched a double-double of 31 points and 16 rebounds with three assists and one steal. In a 92-87 win over Piedmont, David contributed 19 points, six rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block. Felix Uadiale, Maryville - The freshman from McDonough, Georgia notched a double-double with a team-high 21 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in an 89-73 loss to USA South foe N.C. Wesleyan in the team's only contest last week. Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Cydney Nichols, N.C. Wesleyan - The Suffolk, Virginia junior guard notched a game-high 20 off the bench in a 77-63 win over USA South rival Averett in the Bishops' only contest last week. Nichols also added three rebounds, three steals and one assist in the victory. Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Aaliyah Hampton, Berea - The Hopkinsville, Kentucky freshman guard averaged 21.5 points, 3.0 steals, 1.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as the Mountaineers posted a 2-0 record last week. In an 87-81 win over Campbellsville-Harrodsberg, Hampton totaled 27 points, three steals, two rebounds and two assists. In a 70-56 victory over USA South rival Maryville, Hampton posted 16 points, three steals, one rebound, one assist and one block, Also Nominated: Kayrisma Harrison, N.C.
