Men's Basketball Player of the Week
A.J. Frye, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior center from Wilmington, North Carolina averaged 27.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game as the Battling Bishops posted a 1-1 record last week. In an 82-77 loss to Oneota, Frye posted 22 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. In a 100-70 victory over D'Youville, Frye tallied a game-high 32 points to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block. Also Nominated: Chris Barnette, Covenant; Garren Dearman, Methodist; Cannon Lamb, Brevard; Brice Martin, Maryville.

Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Brice Martin, Maryville - The freshman forward from Jonesboro, Georgia notched game-highs of 26 points and five blocked shots in an 83-60 loss to Stockton in the team's only contest last week. Martin also added seven rebounds in the defeat. Also Nominated: Mike Williams, Brevard.
