Jerome Savoy, Pfeiffer - The senior guard from Waldorf, Maryland scored a game-high 29 points as the Falcons defeated Southern Virginia in overtime, 115-101, in the team's only contest last week. Savoy also added seven rebounds, one steal, and one block in the victory. Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Rashod Rouse, William Peace - The freshman guard from Fayetteville, Georgia scored 14 points off the bench as the Pacers defeated Greensboro, 88-83, in the team's only contest last week. Rouse also added four rebounds, one assist, and one block in the victory. Also Nominated: Garrett Sutherland, Brevard; Kyle Smith, LaGrange; Kaleb Powell, Maryville.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Cosette Kirsch, Covenant - The Austin, Texas junior guard scored a game-high 22 points as Covenant defeated Maryville for the first time in 24 tries, 67-61 in overtime, in the team's only contest last week. Kirsch hit two three-pointers in the final ten seconds of regulation to force overtime and lead Covenant to its first win over Maryville since the 2002 season. Kirsch added a game-high six assists to go along with three steals. Zykeria Jenkins, Methodist - The Butler, Georgia freshman forward scored a game-high 17 points off the bench as the Monarchs defeated Salem, 68-46, in the team's only contest last week. Jenkins also added four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in the victory.
