Bryce Jackson, Averett - The junior quarterback from Durham, North Carolina broke the program's record for career 300-yard passing games as he threw for 309 yards with a career-high five touchdowns in a 48-2 win over Greensboro last week. Playing just two and a half quarters, Jackson was 15-of-22, averaging 14.0 yards per attempt. Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
LJ Flint, LaGrange - The freshman wide receiver from Eastaboga, Alabama caught a 73-yard touchdown pass in a 38-34 win over Southern Virginia last week. His only catch of the day, the long score came in the second quarter and evened the score at 21-21. Also Nominated: Bryce Phipps, Averett; Devonte Murray, Brevard.
Football Defensive Player of the Week
Klynell Johnson, LaGrange - The Newnan, Georgia sophomore defensive back intercepted two passes and broke up two more in a 38-34 win over Southern Virginia last week. Both of Johnson's interceptions came on the plus-side of the field. He also added six total tackles in the victory. Also Nominated: Alex Boyd, Methodist; Benyon Williams, N.C. Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
Cameron Grady, LaGrange - The freshman defensive back from Birmingham, Alabama grabbed two interceptions and returned one of them for a touchdown in a 38-34 win over Southern Virginia last week. Grady collected seven total tackles to go along with the interceptions. His second interception of the day sealed the win as it came on a fourth-down play with less than a minute remaining in the game. Also Nominated: DeIrvin Grate, Methodist; Korey Hunter, N.C. Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Bobby Haggerty, Methodist - The senior punter from Raleigh, North Carolina pinned the opponent deep in their own territory several times in a 38-21 win over Maryville last week. Haggerty punted six times with three of them landing inside the ten yard line including two inside the two yard line. Each of these punts led to subsequent Maryville punts, the last of which was turned around by the Methodist offense into the eventual game-winning touchdown. Haggerty averaged 34.8 yards per punt with a long of 42. Also Nominated: Lake Hojnacki, Averett; Stamati Damalos, Brevard.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week
William Curry, Greensboro - The Lexington, North Carolina senior midfielder totaled four goals and two assists in a 2-1 week for the Pride. In a 3-1 win over Ferrum, Curry scored the first two goals of the match, including the eventual game-winner in the 51st minute. In a 3-2, overtime, loss to Guilford, Curry forced overtime as he tied the game with 39 seconds remaining in regulation. Finally, in a 3-2 victory over Piedmont, Curry scored the game-tying goal in the 60th minute before assisting on the game-winning score in the 68th minute. Noah Putman, Maryville - The Old Hickory, Tennessee sophomore defender helped the Scot defense hold their opponents to two goals last week as Maryville posted a 2-0 record. In wins over N.C. Parker Rody, Covenant - The Nashville, Tennessee freshman defender/midfielder scored his first collegiate goal, which happened to be the game-winning goal, in a 2-1 victory over Berry, the only contest last week for the Scots. Rody's goal came with less than five minutes remaining in regulation and helped seal a comeback win. Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Maggie Wilson, Maryville - The Knoxville, Tennessee senior defender anchored a Scot defense which did not allow a goal in a 2-0-1 week. In wins over Berry and LeTourneau, along with a draw with previously unbeaten and untied Sewanee on the road, the Scot defense allowed 15 total shots on goal. Sophie Turner, Maryville - The Murfreesboro, Tennessee sophomore goalkeeper did not allow a goal, posted three shutouts and totaled 15 saves in 290 minutes played in a 2-0-1 week for the Scots. In a 1-0 win over Berry, Turner stopped all eight shots she faced, in a 1-0 victory over LeTourneau, she made two saves, and finally, in a scoreless draw with Sewanee, she collected five saves. Celia de Diego, Averett - The Vallodolid, Spain freshman forward scored twice with one assist in a 1-1 week for the Cougars. In a 3-1 win over Randolph, de Diego assisted on the game-tying goal in the 53rd minute before scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the 59th minute. In a 4-1 loss to Bob Jones, de Diego notched the lone goal for her team. Hailey Long, Meredith - The junior right side hitter from Roxboro, North Carolina averaged 4.13 kills and 2.25 digs per set as the Avenging Angels posted a 1-1 record last week with a win over Covenant and a loss to Maryville. Long notched a double-double against Maryville (15 kills and 11 digs) while her week-highs included 18 kills, 11 digs, two blocks and one service ace. Burris' week-highs included seven blocks, four digs, ten kills, and one service ace (three times). Clyde accumulated match-highs of 15 kills, three digs and one block (three times).
