Football Offensive Player of the Week
Landon Cotney, Huntingdon - The senior quarterback from Alexander City, Alabama accounted for 410 yards of total offense and five touchdowns in a 38-35 win over Methodist last week. Cotney was 20-of-35 passing for 360 yards with four touchdowns and added seven rushes for 50 yards with one score. Down 21-10, the Hawks scored four unanswered touchdowns to storm in front for good thanks to three passing touchdowns and one rushing score from Cotney. Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Bryson Rollins, Maryville - The freshman quarterback from Elizabethton, Tennessee threw for four touchdowns in a 61-7 victory over N.C. Wesleyan last week. Through the air, Rollins was 18-of-24 for 305 yards, averaging 12.7 yards per attempt, with the four scores. On the ground, Rollins carried the ball six times for 42 yards. Football Defensive Player of the Week
Connor Fordham, Belhaven - The Wedowee, Alabama senior linebacker totaled nine tackles, 2.5 of which were for a loss of yardage, a pass breakup, and a blocked punt in a 42-6 win over Southern Virginia last week. Fordham had six solo tackles with three assisted tackles including one sack. His blocked punt resulted in a second quarter Blazer touchdown three plays later. Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
Obadiah Grimes, Brevard - The freshman defensive lineman from Lawrenceville, Georgia totaled six tackles, including three for a loss of yardage, and forced a fumble in a 24-10 victory over LaGrange last week. Grimes made two solo tackles with four assisted take downs with 1.5 sacks. Also Nominated: Eli Webb, Belhaven.
Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Stamati Damalos, Brevard - The senior place kicker from Tarpon Springs, Florida made a 47-yard field goal alongside three extra points in a 24-10 win over LaGrange last week. The 47-yard effort was just one yard short of tying his season-long field goal make. Also Nominated: Constantine Hontzas, Belhaven.

Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Sam Stewart, Pfeiffer - The Belhaven, North Carolina junior forward finished with two goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. In a 3-1 loss to Carolina University, Stewart scored the team's lone goal. In a 4-1 win over Mary Baldwin, Stewart scored the team's third goal while assisting on two others, one of which was the eventual game-winning score. Men's Soccer Defender of the Week
Matthew Walker, Methodist - The Apex, North Carolina freshman goalkeeper earned the win in a 2-1 victory over Brevard by making a season-high five saves. Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week
David Ospina, Methodist - The Orlando, Florida freshman midfielder scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Brevard, the team's only contest last week. With the score tied at one goal apiece, Ospina scored in the 72nd minute to put the Monarchs up for good. Also Nominated: Caue dos Santos, Brevard; Luis Miranda, Pfeiffer; Mika Lommers, N.C. Wesleyan; Aidan Cornell, Greensboro.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Kyra Delaney, William Peace - The Hope Mills, North Carolina senior midfielder scored twice as the Pacers posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South opposition. In a 3-2 win over N.C. Wesleyan, Delaney opened the match with a goal in the second minute before notching the eventual game-winning goal in the 57th minute. In a 1-0 win over Southern Virginia, Delaney was held scoreless but did manage to assist the defense in the shutout. Women's Soccer Defender of the Week
Jordan Tomberlin, Salem - The Merritt Island, Florida senior goalkeeper did not record a win or loss but did help the Spirts to a 1-1 record last week against USA South opposition. Tomberlin appeared in the second half of both contests and totaled 90 minutes played while stopping all 13 shots faced. In a 1-0 loss to Brevard, Tomberlin pitched a second half shutout with five saves. In a 2-1 victory over Pfeiffer, Tomberlin preserved the win by stopping eight shots. Tori Renna, Pfeiffer - The Wake Forest, North Carolina freshman forward scored two goals with one assist as the Falcons posted a 1-1 record last week against USA South opposition. In a 3-1 win over Meredith, Renna scored the team's first and final goals of the contest. In a 2-1 loss to Salem, Renna assisted on the team's lone goal of the match. Lauren Bissette, Meredith - The junior middle blocker from Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina averaged 4.60 kills, with a .577 hitting percentage, and 1.10 blocks per set as the Avenging Angels posted a 3-0 record last week with USA South wins over Mary Baldwin, Greensboro, and Methodist. Bissette's personal match-highs included 28 kills, seven blocks, three digs, two service aces, and one assist. Mantel's personal match-highs included 25 digs, eight assists (twice), four service aces, and one kill. Lillie Davis, Meredith - The freshman setter from Roxboro, North Carolina averaged 10.70 assists and 2.60 digs per set as the Avenging Angels posted a 3-0 record last week with USA South wins over Mary Baldwin, Greensboro, and Methodist. Davis posted one double-double last week while her personal match-highs included 54 assists, 13 digs, six kills, three service aces, and two blocks (twice).
