Football Offensive Player of the Week
Mitchell Yoder, Brevard - The senior running back from Columbus, North Carolina rushed for 123 yards in a 22-20 win over Methodist last week. Yoder carried the ball 13 times for an average of 9.5 yards-per-attempt with one touchdown. He also caught two passes for 28 yards. Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Kevon Samuels, Maryville - The freshman wide receiver from Jasper, Alabama accumulated 189 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a 56-17 victory at LaGrange last week. Samuels caught seven passes, including a 65-yarder which resulted in one of his two scores, for an average of 27.0 yards-per-completion. Also Nominated: None.
Football Defensive Player of the Week
Toby Naylor, Brevard - The Southampton, England senior linebacker totaled 13 tackles, including four tackles for a loss, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup in a 22-20 victory over Methodist last week. Naylor made seven solo tackles with six assisted take downs while his tackles behind the line of scrimmage, which included a sack, resulted in a total loss of 15 yards. Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
Eli Webb, Belhaven - The freshman defensive lineman from Fairhope, Alabama totaled six tackles, including two sacks, in a 24-0 victory over N.C. Wesleyan last week. Webb made four solo tackles with two assisted take downs and made 3.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage which resulted in a total loss of 16 yards. Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Trey Hampton, Maryville - The senior punter/place kicker from Hendersonville, Tennessee was a perfect eight-for-eight on point-after-touchdown attempts, as well as handing the punting and kick-off duties in a 56-17 victory at LaGrange last week. Hampton punted twice for an average of 36.5 with both of his kicks landing inside the opponents' 20 yard-line. Men's Soccer Player of the Week
Jorge Lemus, William Peace - The El Mora, El Salvador junior forward scored three goals as the Pacers posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South competition. In a 3-0 win over Pfeiffer, Lemus scored the third goal of the match. In a 5-0 victory over Greensboro, Lemus notched WPU's third and fifth scores. Tripp Kidd, William Peace - The Swansboro, North Carolina junior goalkeeper notched two shutouts in a 2-0 week for the Pacers against USA South competition. In 180 minutes played, Kidd stopped all ten shots he faced. In wins over Pfeiffer and Greensboro Kidd made five saves each match. Josh Rutland, William Peace - The Wake Forest, North Carolina freshman forward scored three goals, two of which were eventual game-winners, as the Pacers posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South competition. In a 3-0 win over Pfeiffer, Rutland scored the first two goals of the match. In a 5-0 victory over Greensboro, Rutland scored the opening goal in the tenth minute. Women's Soccer Player of the Week
Tatiana Lourenco-Shiber, Methodist - The Pembroke Pines, Florida senior midfielder scored twice as the Monarchs posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South opposition. In a 4-2 win over William Peace, Lourenco-Shiber gave the Monarchs a lead with a score in the 47th minute before tallying the eventual game-winning goal in the 51st minute. In a 3-0 win over Mary Baldwin, Lourenco-Shiber was held scoreless on two shots. Also Nominated: Kelsey Jarrett, Greensboro; Isabel Neall, N.C. Sofia Pagnamenta, Greensboro - The Woodbury, Connecticut freshman goalkeeper posted a 1-0-1 record last week for the Pride against USA South competition. In 180 minutes played, Pagnamenta allowed one goal and made 14 saves. In a 1-1 draw at Brevard, Pagnamenta made six saves while in a 1-0 shutout win over William Peace, Pagnamenta stopped all eight shots faced. Sam Dell, N.C. Wesleyan - The Falls Church, Virginia freshman defender scored three goals, two of which were eventual game-winners, and added two assists as the Battling Bishops posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South opposition. In a 4-1 win over Meredith, Dell scored the team's second and third goals of the match. In a 4-0 victory over Pfeiffer, Dell tallied the first goal of the contest in the sixth minute before assisting on the final two scores. Wesleyan. Pinkston notched one double-double while her personal match-highs included 23 kills, 11 digs, seven service aces, and two blocks. Davis' personal match-highs included 34 digs, seven assists, and two service aces. Shiflet posted two double-doubles while her personal match-highs included 23 kills, 16 digs, one service ace (twice), and one assist. Dalton Hawley, Brevard - The junior from Palm Coast, Florida placed seventh out of 271 runners at the Royals Cross Country Challenge last week. Hawley completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 26:27. Also Nominated: None.

Sawyer Helms, Pfeiffer - The freshman from Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina placed 96th out of 271 runners at the Royals Cross Country Challenge last week. Helms completed the 8,000-meter course in a time of 29:22. Also Nominated: None.

Madison Lowery, Pfeiffer - The junior from Kannapolis, North Carolina placed 20th out of 270 runners at the Royals Cross Country Challenge last week. Lowery completed the 5,000-meter course in a program-record time of 18:22. Also Nominated: Sasha Willie, Southern Virginia; Corrine Weaver, Meredith.
Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week
Carly O'Toole, Meredith - The freshman from Raleigh, North Carolina placed 111th out of 270 runners at the Royals Cross Country Challenge last week. O'Toole completed the 5,000-meter course in a time of 19:45. Also Nominated: Katelyn Warner, Southern Virginia.
