Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Beau Bryant, William Peace - The junior guard from Durham, North Carolina averaged a double-double of 21.5 points and 13.0 rebounds, to go along with 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals, per game as the Pacers posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South opposition. In an 81-78, double-overtime, win over Methodist, Bryant notched a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds with three assists, one steal, and one block. In a 75-72 victory over Greensboro, Bryant again had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four assists and two steals. Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Koa Baker, Southern Virginia - The freshman guard from Eagle Mountain, Utah averaged 14.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game as the Knights posted a 1-1 record last week against USA South foes. In a 74-73 loss to N.C. Wesleyan, Baker notched a double-double of 14 points and ten rebounds to go along with six assists and one steal. In an 87-55 win at Brevard, Baker totaled 15 points, six rebounds, and three steals. Also Nominated: M.J. Armstrong, Pfeiffer; Jadon Carnes, Brevard; Justin Burden, N.C. Wesleyan.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Kate Perko, Meredith - The Fayetteville, North Carolina senior forward averaged a double-double of 20.3 points and 14.7 rebounds, to go along with 1.7 blocks, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 assists, per game as the Avenging Angels posted a 1-2 record last week. In a 94-52 loss to top-ranked Christopher Newport, Perko totaled seven points, nine rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist. In a 65-49 loss to USA South foe Greensboro, Perko notched a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds with two steals, one assist, and one block. Finally, in a 67-66 win over Pfeiffer, Perko scored the game-winning basket while again having a double-double with 34 points and a career-high 22 rebounds to go along with two blocks and one assist. Kaniya Cromartie, N.C. Wesleyan - The Smithfield, Virginia freshman forward averaged 16.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game as the Battling Bishops posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South foes. In a 77-48 win at Salem, Cromartie scored 19 points with seven rebounds, three assists, and one block. In a 79-73 victory at Southern Virginia, Cromartie posted 13 points, nine rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block.
