Ty Martinez, Southern Virginia - The freshman outfielder from South Weber, Utah went a combined 8-for-12 (.667) with a .692 on-base percentage, and a 1.500 slugging percentage to go along with eight runs scored, ten RBI, four doubles, two home runs, and one walk. In a 22-8 loss at Guilford, Martinez was 1-for-3 with one run scored, one run batted in, and one double. In a doubleheader sweep of USA South foe Mary Baldwin, Martinez was a combined 7-for-9 with seven runs scored, nine RBI, three doubles, two home runs, and one walk. Payne Stolsworth, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior from Salisbury, North Carolina earned a victory in his only appearance last week for the Battling Bishops, a 13-9 victory over USA South foe William Peace. Stolsworth allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits with two walks and five strikeouts as he went six innings to grab the victory. Also Nominated: Adam Bridgeman, Pfeiffer.

Kenzi Lyall, Pfeiffer - The sophomore outfielder from Sparta, North Carolina was a combined 6-for-7 (.857), with an .857 on-base percentage, and a 1.571 slugging percentage to go along with three runs scored, five RBI, two doubles, one home run, and one stolen base as the Falcons swept a doubleheader from USA South foe Salem last week. Additionally, Lyall earned the win in the pitching circle in the first game by tossing six shutout innings and allowing one hit with two walks, and nine strikeouts. In a 9-0, five-inning, win over USA South foe Salem, Morton tossed four shutout innings, allowing one hit with two walks and ten strikeouts. Moe Byerly, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman outfielder from Lexington, North Carolina was a combined 3-for-11 (.273) with a .333 on-base percentage and a .364 slugging percentage to go along with two runs scored, one run batted in, one double, and one walk as the Battling Bishops posted a 2-2 record last week versus USA South competition. In dropping two games against Greensboro, Byerly was a combined 1-for-6 with one double and one walk. Reagan Frazier, Mary Baldwin - The freshman from Waynesboro, Virginia earned a win and a save in two relief appearances last week for the Fighting Squirrels against USA South foe Salem. Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Brady McGuire, Piedmont - The Westminster, Maryland junior senior attackman totaled 13 points on eight goals and five assists to go along with three ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Lions against USA South competition. In a 24-6 win over Brevard, McGuire scored three goals with three assists, and three ground balls. In a 19-10 victory at Huntingdon, McGuire scored five times with two assists. Tyler Bennett, Methodist - The Greensboro, North Carolina senior midfielder/faceoff specialist broke the Monarchs' single-game record for ground balls with a career-high 19 in a 21-20 loss to USA South foe LaGrange in the team's only game last week. Kayla Nee, Methodist - The Hampstead, North Carolina junior attacker set a new program and USA South single-game record with 13 assists in the Monarchs' only contest last week, a 24-1 win over Greensboro. In addition to setting the single-game League record, she also has established a new Conference single-season assists record with 67 current helpers, eclipsing the old mark of 64. Finally, last week in the win, Nee added one ground ball and one caused turnover. Lindley Ward, Piedmont - The Snellville, Georgia senior midfielder collected five caused turnovers, 13 draw controls, and four ground balls as the Lions posted a 2-0 record last week against USA South competition. In a 21-3 win over Huntingdon, Ward posted two caused turnovers, ten draw controls, and two ground balls while also adding three goals and one assist. In a 19-0 win over N.C. Wesleyan, Ward caused three turnovers with three draw controls, two ground balls, two goals and two assists. Wills Belser, Methodist - The freshman from Charlotte, North Carolina earned a singles and doubles win in the only match for the Monarchs last week, a win over Johnson & Wales. Aaron Leavitt, Southern Virginia - The sophomore from Orem, Utah competed at the Randolph WildCat Festival last week in two events. In the high jump Leavitt's best effort was 2.00 meters while in the triple jump, his best mark was 12.37 meters. Also Nominated: Nick Wiggins, Methodist.
Men's Track Rookie of the Week
Carter Johnson, Southern Virginia - The freshman from Winchester, Virginia competed at the Randolph WildCat Festival last week in two events. In the steeplechase, Johnson finished in 11:07.49 while in the 1,500 meters, he posted a time of 4:25.20. Also Nominated: Alex Topoly, Methodist; Sawyer Helms, Pfeiffer.

Koby Parry, Southern Virginia - The freshman from Spanish Fork, Utah competed at the Christopher Newport New Captains Classic last week in the javelin and posted a mark of 51.22 meters. Also Nominated: None.

Mariah Brooks, N.C. Wesleyan - The sophomore from Lawrenceville, Georgia competed at the South Florida Invitational last week in the 200 meters and broke her own USA South record, posting a time of 24.40. Myla Barnes, William Peace - The senior from Dayton, Ohio competed at the UNC Pembroke Braves Classic last week in two events. Ahnia Cherry, N.C. Wesleyan - The freshman from Rocky Mount, North Carolina competed at the South Florida Invitational last week in the 100 meters and posted a time of 11.78. Also Nominated: Patti Busch, Methodist; Shandrey Allman, Southern Virginia.
Women's Field Rookie of the Week
Ainsley Lau, Southern Virginia - The freshman competed at two different events last week, the Christopher Newport New Captains Classic and the Randolph WildCat Festival. At the Christopher Newport event, Lau posted a 9.65 meter throw in the shot put and a 25.27 meter effort in the javelin. At the Randolph event, Lau competed in three events. In the pole vault, she posted a mark of 1.95 meters, in the high jump her best mark was 1.35 meters, and in the long jump she posted a distance of 4.64 meters.
