Colin Scoggins, N.C. Wesleyan - The sophomore infielder from Durham, North Carolina went a combined 7-for-9 (.778) with an .818 on-base percentage, and a 1.444 slugging percentage to go along with three runs scored, nine RBI, one double, one triple, one home run, and one walk as the Battling Bishops posted a 3-0 record last week. In a 13-6 win at Averett, Scoggins was 1-for-1 with a run scored. In a doubleheader sweep of USA South foe Methodist, Scoggins was a combined 6-for-8 which included, in game two, hitting for the cycle and tying the Conference record for RBI in a single game with seven. Payne Stolsworth, N.C. Wesleyan - The senior from Salisbury, North Carolina tossed eight shutout innings to win his only appearance last week, an 11-4 victory over USA South foe Mary Baldwin. Avery Bishop, Greensboro - The freshman outfielder from Tampa, Florida went a combined 3-for-8 (.373) with a .375 on-base percentage, and an .875 slugging percentage in the only games played last week for the Pride, a doubleheader sweep of USA South rival Greensboro. Bishop totaled two runs, four RBI, one double, one home run, and one stolen base in the victories. Also Nominated: Austin Wood, Pfeiffer.
Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week
Stephen Dunlow, Greensboro - The freshman from Oxford, North Carolina appeared in relief in two games last week for the Pride against USA South foes, earning a win over 4.1 innings pitched while allowing two runs on five hits with three walks and five strikeouts. In a 14-2 victory over Pfeiffer, Dunlow tossed three shutout innings, allowing two hits and one walk with four strikeouts. Also Nominated: Sam Safrit, Pfeiffer.

Kelsey Craven, Greensboro - The sophomore catcher from Ramseur, North Carolina was a combined 8-for-15 (.533), with a .588 on-base percentage, and an .800 slugging percentage to go along with two runs scored, six RBI, one double, one home run, and two walks as the Pride went 3-1 against USA South competition last week. In a doubleheader split with Meredith, Craven was a combined 5-for-8 with three RBI and two walks. In a doubleheader sweep of 19th-ranked Pfeiffer, Craven was a combined 3-for-7 with two runs scored, three RBI, one double, and one home run. Katherine Murphy, William Peace - The senior from Wade, North Carolina earned a 2-0 record in two appearances, both complete-game wins, for the Pacers against USA South competition. In 15 innings, Murphy allowed three runs (two earned) on eight hits with zero walks and 18 strikeouts. In a 9-0 win over Brevard, Murphy tossed a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts. In a 4-3, eight-inning, victory over Mary Baldwin, Murphy three runs (two earned) on seven hits with six strikeouts. In a doubleheader sweep of Meredith, Thomas was a combined 7-for-8 with two runs scored, one run batted in, one double, and one stolen base. J.P. Galloway, Pfeiffer - The Frederick, Maryland senior attackman totaled 14 points on eight goals and five assists to go along with four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Falcons against USA South competition. In an 18-9 win over Methodist, Galloway scored four times with two assists, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers. In a 24-8 win over LaGrange, Galloway scored five goals with three assists, two ground balls, and one caused turnover. Jaydon Arnold, Southern Virginia - The Johnstown, Colorado junior faceoff specialist totaled 13 ground balls while also going 21-of-23 (.913) on faceoffs with one goal scored as the Knights defeated USA South foe Brevard, 26-6 in their only contest last week. Will White, Pfeiffer - The Peterborough, Ontario freshman long-stick midfielder grabbed nine ground balls, caused one turnover, scored one goal, and assisted on another as the Falcons posted a 2-0 record against USA South competition. In an 18-9 win over Methodist, White scored grabbed two ground balls. In a 24-8 win over LaGrange, White scored once with one assist, seven ground balls, and one caused turnover. Alissa Johnson, Southern Virginia - The Salt Lake City, Utah senior attacker totaled 12 points on five goals and seven assists with 15 draw controls, and seven ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Knights against USA South foes. In a 22-4 win over Pfeiffer, Johnson scored three times with four assists, six draw controls, and five ground balls. In a 20-6 victory over Brevard, Johnson scored twice with three assists, nine draw controls, and two ground balls. In a 21-0 win over USA South foe Greensboro, Walker scored three times with six assists, four ground balls, three draw controls, and one caused turnovers. In a 15-2 loss to Christopher Newport, Walker scored once with one ground ball and one caused turnover. Matthew Hurley, Methodist - The freshman from Faulconbridge, New South Wales, Australia earned a 3-0 singles record with a 1-1 doubles mark, all at the top-spots, last week for the Monarchs against opponents from N.C.
